Secret Identitiy Revealed!

On the way to gymnastics today Sammy and her friend Madi (who we carpool with) had this little conversation...

Madi asks, " Sammy, do you believe in super heroes?"
Sammy replies, "Yes"

Madi than says, "well... I don't"

Sammy (in disbelief) replies, "oh, you should because I KNOW a real super hero!'

Madi's interest is piqued a little and asks, "oh yeah, who? " (a tinge accusationally)
Sammy whispers, "well you can't tell anyone...but its my Daddy!"

Madi concedes, "you are probably right. He is the fastest runner I know!"

Sammy proudly says, "I know... its because he is a REAL super hero!"

that is so sweet. I love how kids think we are super heros and that we cant' ever do wrong. Boy will they be surprise when they find out that we are not super heros. But I do still think my mom is one of my HEROS. So maybe we just become realistic. Cute picture of the kids with the fastest running super hero

That is one of those priceless moments to treasure and remind her of in the future!! Our world would be such a better place if all kids had superhero parents to look up to!!
