Have I mentioned that Nate loves Buzz Lightyear?
About 2 years ago we took our kids to Build-a-Bear...luckily for Nate (who was an infant at the time and didn't get a bear) Ben picked a Buzz Lightyear Monkey...well we have somehow lost the monkey but we still have the Buzz outfit which has recently become an outfit of choice for Nate. He has been bringing the outfit to me to put on him and I have told him over and over that its for a stuffed animal and he is too big. Well, I finally just put it on him so he would understand...except he didn't care if it was too small! He loved it. I am pretty sure he is convinced that he is the REAL Buzz Lightyear (when I showed him this picture I ask him "who is this?" and he said "Buzz" I said "No, its Nate" and he said "no, Buzz")!

Thats so cute! My kids would be jealous that you know the REAL Buzz Lightyear!
You're so funny! Parker thinks he is the REAL Spiderman, because his name is Peter Parker. There really isn't a Peter anywhere in his name, but you try explaining that to a 5-year old.
dont be in denial about the binky :) But you should do what we did...when its time to take it away. Maybe if he made a Buzz bear with his binkys in there it will go ok. It went GREAT with Mason
Maya just said, "Hey is that Buzz Lightyear?" Then she said, "Is that Nathan in that Buzz Lightyear suit?" Apparently at first glance she thought it was the real Buzz too! :)
How cute is he! and I am glad I am not the only one living in "binky denial.
Ryan wore his size 12 month Superman PJs until he was 5 - it was ridiculous, but I think Nathan takes the cake. Too funny!
There is no reasoning with two-years-olds. I know the REAL spiderman.

Hey I don't think there is anything wrong with a paci now and then, I didn't even take Presleys away until she was over 2, granted by 18 months I would only give it to her at bedtimes or naptimes, but it's what kept her my baby, I think i was in denial too. Oh and love the Michael Johns song below. I had a little hissy fit on my blog for sure.
Dont worry about the binky. I am not there yet, but I will be and it is not even a binky. Jack sucks his thumb. He usually only does it in bed, but more and more I will catch him with a blanky or soft toy and his thumb in his mouth and I cant take his hands away. Hey, he is number 3, you do what you have to do.
I was just thinking the other day how sad it is that I cant play dress up with a little boy. Guess I was wrong! That is just got me so excited for this little boy :)
