Hopefully I am not the only one...but one of my favorite things to do with my kids is turn on some LOUD music and dance our hearts out! It is super fun and I recommend it for all! Sammy and Nate love it and it is so much fun just to be silly with them every once in a while! I teach my kids little dance moves but mostly I just like to watch them "freestyle" and make up their own things! The problem is...usually Ben stands back and watches us dance and says "I can't dance" or "I don't want to". I try so hard to get him to participate but he won't (he must get this from Benson..definitely not a Jones trait). Today, Sammy and I were dancing and Ben came in and started dancing with us...he even invented a "surf dance" which is pretty much self explanatory and he dances like he's surfing! I loved it! I had no idea that boys had this fear of dancing at such a young age! But I do know that his future wife (and all the girls at the stake dances in the future) will thank me for teaching him to let loose and ROCK OUT!

Rocking Out!

First of all LOVE the new colors!!!!!on your blog. And Second.....good job on the music. I thought I was the only one that danced around with my kids. We also sing into our hands. Cuz we all want to be rockstars also.

Way to go! I still remember you telling me how you were dancing at playgroup and all of the kids were just staring blankly and then Maya made some funny comment to you.
We also love to dance and since we don't have curtains on those front windows that are up high, I always think that someone is going to spot us! :)

Well sad to say I use to have dance parties with just myself. Now Payten has them with me but she just stares at me! Soon she will be a dancing fool too. It is great that they can feel good about themselves and not have a care in the world.
Hey! It was so good hearing from you! I hope you guys are doing great. You're family is so beautiful! It's so crazy that we have kids that are getting so old! I feel like I'm still the silly teenage girl from Corona. I guess that's why I dance silly to loud music with my kids too! He's a dance machine! The girls in his future really will appreciate your hard work! Everything is better when you dance... cleaning especially. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who dances with my boys. One of our favorite things to do is jam to the Hairspray soundtrack. You just can't help but smile!

Oh I love a good dance party every now and then! And I got blessed with a hubby who will get right up and shake it with us (not to rub it in or anything ;) I'm just teasing, we love to dance tho!
Yes we need some boys that aren't afraid to move! I love dancing around the house, but for some reason I only dance around my kids. (: And by the way, you're tip on the blog solved the dilemna!

I love dancing with loud music and the kids. My favorite move to do and to watch is the robot. Everyone loves a good robot.
