Soccer Time!
Nate is playing soccer this year with his team the BLUE SHARKS (or blue dolphins depending on who you ask...but at our house they are the sharks) anyway, imagine if you will, Nate is on the field with a whole gang of kids fighting for the ball...Nate manages a break away and kicks the ball across the whole field. The sidelines are going CRAZY..."go Nate...he's going to make a goal" He's grinning for ear to ear kicking the ball and running...the goal is clear right in front of him and the other kids are far behind. He gets 2 feet from the goal and....
STOPS and turns the ball around and kicks it the other way...WHAT?!?
Oh well...he loves the game! And maybe we will be able to teach him he is supposed to kick the ball INTO the net!
Nate marches to the beat of his own drummer...love that kid!

Just to keep things exciting..we have the boys on 2 different leagues...I love to complicate my life! :)

Ben is another story...he is super competitive and even the they don't keep score...Ben does! He knows how many points they have...and he is happy to tell you he scored SEVEN goals on Saturday's game (he actually only scored 5....but he insists he scored 7). I keep telling him 5 is a lot of goals and he says "I know...but I scored 7"! He loves to play and is learning to play as a team and trying to remember to not steal the ball from his teammates and give others a chance to score!

VOLCANOES!!
I really like doing little activities with my kids...today was a little science experiment and we made volcanoes! The boys were super excited (poor Samantha has all day school) and we made our volcanoes out of play-do...then added a little vinegar and baking soda and the volcano erupted!! In true boy fashion, my boys loved the explosion so we used an ENTIRE bottle of vinegar and box of baking soda.
Poor Nate
Ice Caves!
We went to my parents cabin over Labor Day weekend...we went on an awesome (very long...I'm talking 5 hours) hike! We hiked to some ice caves and these happen to be the only pics I got for the weekend!

If I already have your email and you were invited the LAST time I went private you don't need to give me your email again...I still have it! But if the last time you gave me your email and for some reason you weren't invited...give me your email again, please!
Thanks!
