I Can't Take It...

Ben lost the 1st of his top teeth (he lost his first two bottom teeth a year ago and has been anxiously awaiting losing more teeth)! His tooth was barely hanging on by a THREAD for days! And it was making me CRAZY! So finally Benson pulled it and after a lot of tears...Ben finally lost his tooth! I seriously think its the CUTEST thing! I can't handle it!
His other tooth is already growing in :( so I am hoping he loses the next tooth soon so I can enjoy his toothless grin for a while!

New Years Eve

We were invited to a New Years Eve party and as with EVERYTHING Rob & Amy do...it was over-the-top fun! The night started with lots of yummy food, games, talking, etc. and then we started the fireworks...Not only did we have SNOW this week...for the first time EVER fireworks were legal to buy in AZ (I guess not legal to light..but we ignored that)...

The spectators:

Nate & Blake loved these poppers!

Lucy only liked the fireworks if I held her...then she would say "pretty" in between crying :)

Sammy and Ben were typical pyros...they loved it!

Cute Kenzie all bundled up (it was soooo cold!)

Sammy and her sparkler

Kenzie again :)

Hannah, Sammy, and Kenzie

at about 11pm we decided it was New Years and passed out all the hats, horns, confetti...by the end the street was a mess and all the kids were so hyped up!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Snow in Arizona?!?!

On December 30, 2010 it actually SNOWED in our own backyard! Its like a late Christmas miracle...my kids (okay, and I) were screaming with JOY!

It lasted like 5 minutes and was a highlight of their Christmas break!!

Cotton Candy

Benson's brothers family bought our family a COTTON CANDY maker for Christmas! My kids were dying to try it out! One day over break we were having a jammie day and we decided to give it a try... With this cotton candy maker you buy hard candy and put it in the machine and it melts it to make candy! We bought jolly ranchers to try it out (we ACCIDENTALLY bought sour ones)

Works pretty good...

It was a super fun activity...my kids are dying to do it again and I need to improve my technique because I couldn't make them look pretty!
