"Sammy's" school project

Sammy had to do a project on the Circulatory System for school! I really learned a lot...not sure how much Sammy learned though! Okay, I am kind of kidding...but seriously...after the project Sammy told Benson "my project only took me about an hour to finish" and Benson said "oh really I saw Mom working on it much longer than that!"

Okay...I know I only have like 3 people that read my blog so this shouldn't be a huge ordeal...but I am going PRIVATE (again, yes I know)! I'm paranoid and freaked out about all the weirdos in the world...don't want them to have access of my pictures...blah, blah! Anyway, its time...hopefully I stick to it this time :)

Cabin Trip

Last weekend we decided to take the kids and make a trip to my parents cabin to play in the snow before it all melted!! There wasn't too much snow...but enough for us to have some fun! Plus it wasn't too cold...so that was nice! We are pretty wimpy when it comes to cold weather! The kids loved have snowball fights and we spent hours racing down the hills on our sleds!

It was getting pretty warm so Nate took off his coat...he thought he looked like a "farmer" with his overalls on! Also, I couldn't get him to STOP eating the dirty snow!

Sammy is very adventurous...which always surprises me! She loves to go fast!

It was a very fun trip! But I was very happy to pack up and come home to a place where there is NO SNOW!!

Gymnastics

The last couple months the kids have been in gymnastics!! They have absolutely loved it! These pictures aren't the best because I am behind glass...but just wanted to document it...

And so it begins...

The other morning Lucy found some high heels in the dress up box...she wore them on the tile and when she heard the click, clack...

She has never been happier!!

On Wednesday Ben pulled out his other wiggly top tooth! He was so excited! Benson snapped a quick picture before bed on his phone....Not to be out done by his brother in excitement...Nate also wanted his picture taken!

Nana

When Benson's parents came over for Ben's Birthday...I took this super cute pictures of my girls with their Nana! They sure do love her!!

Happy 7th Birthday Ben!!!

How could it be...Ben is already 7?!?! He was so excited for his day and luckily it was a Saturday because it was a non-stop party!! He was very excited for his monkey bread breakfast...his very favorite thing... Sammy worked on a book that she made for him...it is about a super hero named "Surf Boy" that liked all of the same things as Ben (so cute!)

Benson and I got him a new bike...he really wanted a "racing bike" so he could ride fast! He has been super into that lately...and is happy to report he can ride his new bike around the park 10 seconds faster!!

Then it was time for his party!! Ben is really into FOOTBALL right now and wanted to have a football party (luckily with the Super Bowl coming up...this ended up being a really easy theme!)Aunt Reagan came and did face painting...the kids played in the backyard and decorated bags for the pinata! Ben had a "7" on his jersey...it was his 7th Birthday and a football party..very appropriate!

My Dad wanted a turn (Ben shares a Birthday with him) since it was his Birthday too...

After presents...time for cake and ice cream!!!

It was a full house...lots of kids (14 to be exact!)

Right after Ben's friend party we headed to another park in our neighborhood to celebrate with my family! Ben shares a Birthday with my dad and his twin brother! So it was quite the celebration! We played some really fun games (I took pictures but because I love my siblings and cousins I decided not to post them) and had some pizza!

The next day we celebrated Bashford style with the Bashford traditional bunny rabbit pancake!

And that night we had Benson's parents (and a friend of theirs, the Scott's, who were visiting from out of town) over for dinner, cake and ice cream to celebrate...and they bought Ben a new baseball glove...

Wow! What a celebration! Happy Birthday Ben!!!
