THANKSGIVING

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Jones Family!! Yummy dinner followed by Tangled (super cute movie) and then back for delicious pie! Perfect Thanksgiving!

Lucy had a playdate with her friend Piper the other day!! These two girls were so cute together and chased eachother and laughed the whole time! So cute!

GIRLS TRIP 2010

  We just had a BLAST in California!!  My parents took all of my sisters on a super fun shopping/ Disneyland trip!!  I wasn't good about taking pictures..I know other people took a bunch so I will have to post more later!!  I only took pictures at Disneyland (I guess I didn't have very many photo ops shopping!)  My sister Reagan had the idea to all get Mickey ears and we got tons of attention with our matching ears!!  People were probably thinking "why are all of those grown women wearing mickey mouse ears?!?"  but who cares...it was so fun to feel like a kid again!!  We also did a TON of shopping...Southcoast Plaza, Tai Pan, Irvine Spectrum, and TARGET...we went to Target like a million times...we are random!Later in the day, my cousin, aunt and uncle met up with us...the also shopped with us a little (again, no pics)!!

 SUCH A FUN TRIP!! Can't wait until next year!!

ASU GAME!!!

Benson SCORED 4 tickets to the ASU vs. Stanford game on Saturday!! He surprised the 3 kids and took them! Luckily, they had the seats that had FREE food...Benson said they ate the entire time!! They even rode the train to the game...such a fun night!

{I also had a fun night...Target, Costco, Costa Vida, AJ's, and Walmart with my favorite little lady, Lucy! Man, she is a shopper!}

Honey Butter...yummmmm

On Sunday night I made some honey butter (to go with our delicious cornbread that I made) and as I was getting everything on the table Benson came into the kitchen to help get drinks and things...and we could hear Lucy saying "yum, yum, yum" over and over...
Bensons says to me "I have no idea what Lucy is doing but she is happy" and we turn around and she has a fork and is eating the honey butter...and has it ALL over her!  She was in HEAVEN!  It was so funny and Benson and I could not stop laughing!

Sammy went the the Desert Ridge Cheer leading clinic and then got to CHEER at the HOMECOMING game!!  She was soooo excited about this and could not stop talking about it!!

Piano Recital

Sammy had her 1st piano recital yesterday!  She did so great and wasn't nervous at all!  She performed "Oh, Come All Ye Faithful" MEMORIZED!  She has been PRACTICING so much and it sounded perfect!

Vote? Boat? Root Beer Float?

Today while walking out of the gym I told Nate "Now we are going to go vote!"  and he said "yes!" (insert fist pump)...pleasantly surprised by his enthusiasm to fulfil his civic duty albeit shocked I say "why are you so excited?"  He says, "I LOVE root beer floats, yum!" 
After explaining to him that there would be no root beer floats I said the word "V-O-T-E" slowly for him and we went to the school waited in line..entertained Lucy...passed out gum...saw Nate friends from school...and filled out the ballot (I really need to remember to get an absentee ballot next time!)
On the way out I ask Nate if he liked voting and he said "yeah, but mom I didn't see ONE boat in there so its not real boating!"
