Nathan's Many Hats!
Of all my kids I would say Nathan is the jokster...which is good because Ben loves to laugh at his baby brother (now that I think about it maybe they are both joksters). Nathan is cracking us up all day long. He will do anything for a laugh. His favorite joke is to put stuff on his head. He is always coming up with new things...his favorite is an orange cone. The other day we were at the park and there were tons of teams practicing there...we lost track of Nathan for a second than we saw him in the middle of the field with a bunch of orange cones on his head! One time we were out to dinner with my family and we look over and he has a ketchup bottle on his head! Almost every night at dinner he puts his cup on his head and tells us he is "tricky". Nathan loves to wear all of the hats in our dress up box all day long...pirate hat, cowboy hat, hard hat, princess crowns, wigs, etc. He loves when other people put stuff on their heads too and just thinks its the funniest thing in the world. He also likes to wear regular hats too...I guess its good because his hair is usually all over the place (it won't stay down!)

what a character, i love it! especially the fro!
Hey Kyle! How fun to see your comment on my blog. I can't believe how big your kids are. Except for Nathan -- he hardly looks like the same fatbaby he used to! What a cutie.
To answer your questions re: those books. Holy cow. Both are way intense, but for different reasons. I would very much recommend SUNS. I was super affected by The Kite Runner too. I don't think SUNS is nearly as haunting (I never found myself despising the protagonist like I did in KITE, know what I mean?). SUNS is more about the plight of women during that same time period. Not as violent, at least not in the same way. I don't know what else to say, other than I loved, Loved, LOVED them both. I'm going to put you on my friends blog list now so I can check back with you guys!
See ya at Walmart sometime...
Katie
