On Saturday night we dyed our Easter eggs..the kids were funny about the whole process..Ben was super worried that his egg would "hatch" and kept wanting to be careful with it. Nate dyed one egg and than wanted to hold that egg and not dye any others..he is very loyal :)

Nate's one egg he decorated..he worked really hard on it.

Ben was being super goofy and was pretending like he was going to eat his egg with the shell on.

Our finished product..unfortunately we had a lot of eggs "hatch" so we weren't able to decorate more...but I am pretty sure we won't be able to eat all of these anyway.

Easter morning we went through the kids baskets...the bunny filled their baskets and we gave them their Sunday clothes and a slip-n-slide and a little bubble thing. Sammy told me this morning "mom, I still love you even though you only gave me 3 things for Easter" I so had to bite my tongue..needless to say I had to have a little talk with her about being grateful!! Than we had a little Easter egg hunt with the kids in the backyard!

Sammy showing off her new pom-poms...she has been taking a little cheer class and she had been wanting these to practice with..it was funny because she gets the pom-poms and starts doing all these moves and she knew all the names and everything (liberty, high V, low V, arrows, buckets, etc) I had no idea that she new all of that...it was pretty cute!

The kids going through their eggs after the hunt!

Before we went to church we took some pics of the kids in their new outfits!

After church we went over to my parents for dinner and than another Easter egg hunt..believe it or not my kids never got sick of these! My mom had every kid have their own kind of egg (tinkerbell, superman, cars, sports, etc) so the kids had to find their own eggs...loved that because than everything was fair and everyone got the same amount :)

Kyle,
So glad you found my blog! I'll add you to my list so I can keep track of what you guys are up to! Your kids are getting so big! CrAzY! It's a blast looking at all the Dirtbag pics as well. Hope all is well. Glad to be in touch again!
I love your gilrs hair in curlers, remind me of so many Saturday nights getting ready for church! Your family is so cute! Looks like a fun easter!
Looks like you had fun! Sammy's comment made me laugh!
I love their outfits too!
Kyle, I know the feeling of rejection. Hang in there. I wasn't needed for the Christmas or Valentine's Day parties and it felt like I wasn't picked on the playground. Very sad. I really do want to get together with you. I have so many fun memories of the good old days. Remember that crazy kid I dated?!! 9how could you forget? He was always SO nice to you! I confess, I do read your blog almost daily, but I'm not great at always commenting.
i LOVE those shorts on your boys! how cute! and sammy's curly hair is so pretty! you're kids got a lot for Easter! I was really bad at preparing much this year, so all they got was some candy i had leftover from filling eggs for Caleb's school egg hunt and some jelly beans. Surprisingly, they were really excited to get that! (thank goodness!) they're just suckers for sugar and i hardly ever give it to them.
I can't believe how big McKinley is! I think she was a newborn last time I saw her. Looks like you guys had a great time.
