Loving the Lake!

Last night we went on a spur of the moment Lake Trip with some friends! It was so much fun! We packed some dinner and went and swam and fished at the lake!! Right when we got there Sammy said "Why is it so dirty?" (I swear I didn't even tell her to say that)! It took a little convincing to get her in...but once she did she loved it! Britany made the comment "its like the beach...but better because the kids aren't getting pounded by the waves!"

Ben and Nathan were both in heaven at the lake...they get that from their dad!

Benson tried to teach Sammy how to fish (does it count as "fishing" if we didn't even catch or SEE any fish?)...the kids thought this was so fun!

Nathan LOVES to throw rocks in the pool...so he was so happy to throw rocks in the lake and even happier that nobody yelled at him when he did it!

This was a perfect trip...we got dirty and had fun and then got to come home and take a bath!
(just an update...the tooth fairy did come and leave Sammy $1...and she is thrilled!)

Things that make me SMILE...

Benson went to get Lucy out of her crib and Nate was in the crib with her...holding her mobile over her head and said "look dad...I can hold this for Lucy" 1/10

Lucy has the cutest smile...and she scrunches up her little nose! 12/09

All Ben wants for Christmas is a SPY KIT! He is obsessed with it...I ask him who he wants to spy on and he told me "you!" 12/09

November 2008: Ben had a paper in his folder from school that said "Ask me to help you with a chore tonight" I read it to him and quickly snatched it out of my hand and threw it in the trash and said "that is for NEXT year"

November 2008 : I ask Ben what he wanted to be when he grew up he said "a daddy with a 100 babies AND a grown up human"

November 2008: I ask Samantha what she wanted to be when she grows up she said "a mommy" and I said how many babies do you want to have and she said "how ever many babies you have, mom"

October 2008: Nate climbs into bed with me with a pirate patch on and says "Mom, I'm a pirate treasure"

July 2008: Nate sees cupcakes at the store and says "Nate WUVVVS tup-takes"
