Book Update!
Thank you for all your book recommendations! I took my boys to Barnes and Noble and we were able to find TONS of books that they were interested in (I don't know why I thought they had every boy book there was) anyway, turns out they loved so many books we had to eliminate some and save those for next time! This is what we ended up getting...

Dinosaurs, sharks, trucks...those are exactly the kinds of books we have on our bookshelf. Boys will be boys, I guess:)
What a fun mommy-daughter date! I need to do that more often. It's great for Rob when I do that because he is only left with one kid:) That is hilarious that you paint like a five year old, so do I. I was hoping you would have posted the pictures of your creation.
