One Year Older and Wiser too...

Well, I don't know about WISER but I am definitely one year older today...and I have to say I had such a great Birthday! Thank you to ALL of my friends and family that called, emailed, POSTED ON THEIR BLOGS (Deanna and Erin you are so busted with those pictures!!) and all of the wonderful gifts I received. I feel SO loved and I had such a great day! Thanks! I woke up this morning to my house decorated (by Benson) with red streamers and balloons (my favorite color). Then after I took Sammy and Ben to school Benson took Nate and I to Jamba Juice for breakfast (I have to say I am a little mad they took my favorite smoothie..the Citrus Squeeze..off of their menu, but luckily they still made it for me).

For lunch, I went with some friends to Paradise Bakery and after I took the above picture Britany said "it looks like we are at a kids party" I think she was right. It was a little crazy with all the kids...but I had a great time and thank you to all of you that came (although in the picture it looks like it was Maya, Nate, Grace, Kennedy, Carter...I swear there were adults there too)

For dinner, Benson's parents took us to Chilis..I love Chilis and they have my FAVORITE dessert..chocolate molten cake...YUMMY!

Benson spoiled me so much and got me both of these flower bouquets. He said he went to get me the roses and couldn't resist the sunflowers...I love them both!

Ben has been SO excited for my birthday and really wanted to get me a special present. He has been talking about it for weeks. I told him over and over that all I wanted for my birthday was for him to make me a card or draw me a picture and he kept telling me "I'm getting you a surprise" Last night Benson was trying to get him to draw me a picture and he said "I don't want to give her a picture. I want to give her something better...LIPSTICK" So Benson had Ben get me this pink lip gloss..he was so excited to give it to me! I love it!

Sammy wrote me a special story about my birthday and how she was going to make me a cake. She is so creative and I love her story and pictures. I will treasure this story forever!

Benson also surprised me and got me this beautiful necklace...he picked it out all by himself and I think he did really good. I will wear this everyday!

All in all, it was a FABULOUS Birthday..thanks again to all of you that made my day great!

And tomorrow I get my early Mother's Day Gift...I am having some cleaning ladies come SCOUR my house!
