I finished THE HOST tonight. It took me a while to get into (I seriously read the first 3 chapters like 4 times) but in the end...I liked it. Of course, its no Twilight...but a good book. I never thought that I would have to make this decision but I guess I like vampires more than aliens...and NO ONE can compete with Edward. But, If I am not comparing the books..which is so hard not to..I liked THE HOST! What did everyone else think?Wednesday, May 14, 2008
The Host
I finished THE HOST tonight. It took me a while to get into (I seriously read the first 3 chapters like 4 times) but in the end...I liked it. Of course, its no Twilight...but a good book. I dont know what I think because I was wait for you to finish so that I could read you book. So, we need to make a time to do that. Let me know when you will be home and I will come pick it up.
AMEN. Well, I haven't read The Host yet, but I would pick vampires over aliens any day. :)
I didn't even know she came out with something else. I don't know....I really liked her vampires.
I am about 100 pages into the book. I was hoping for another page turner but I am still not really into it yet. Perhaps I need to sit down during some uninterrupted time (right...) and try to really focus on it. I'll let you know when I finish it.
For some reason I can not get into The Host. I am only about 100 pages into it and I keep finding myself rereading a page. But then again sometimes I only read like 5 pages at a time. Hopefully I will be able to get some good reading done during nap time.
I have been waiting for some feedback on it be for I delve into it. I just finished The Other Boleyn Girl- thanks for suggesting it.
