We seriously had a crazy Saturday...it started off with recital dress rehearsal for Sammy and Ben. It was a good thing we went to this because Sammy's skirt was falling down the whole time..so we needed to figure out how to make it tighter and figure out all of her costume changes.

Ben's little group of boys did a dance to "Men in Black" they wore sunglasses and rocked out...Ben pretty much made up his own dance..I loved it!

Next was Tanners baptism... we had to change in the car and leave
rehearsals early. Sammy sang "I am a Child of God" at the Baptism and Benson had a talk on the Holy Ghost. They both did a great job!

Nathan didn't really want to be in this picture of the
Bashford cousins...thanks Logan for trying :)

After the Baptism we had to be in Mesa for Sammy's Lets Play Music
recital. Sammy worked so hard this year and completed her first year. This program is so amazing and I can't believe how much Sammy knows about music. We are so proud of her!

I seriously wish I had video of Nathan...Sammy had music homework that Ben and Nathan loved to do with her...well, at the recital Nathan really wanted to participate.
Unfortunately, we were on the front row and he was just singing and clapping along...who's recital is this? Super funny!

Sammy got a Certificate from Miss Julie for completing her Blue Bugs year. Good thing we got a picture of this because Nathan has colored all over it...he was so proud of his creation...Sammy was not as impressed!

For dinner, we went to
Oregano's with my parents and my sister Kacey. It was so yummy! I was smart and got a babysitter for Nathan...too much excitement for one day.

Here are my two performers...

Ben and his
Tuff guys performing "Men in Black"(or what Ben likes to call "Red and Black"). My sister Kacey has a really loud and distinct whistle...in the middle of Ben's performance she whistled and Ben stopped and waved to us. Then after he said "I heard Kacey whistle"...it was so funny!

I didn't get any good pictures of Sammy's tumbling performance..but she did really good and then she performed "Hey Mickey" with her Pom and Cheer class.

Sammy really wanted flowers for her recital. She was at the store with me when I bought them and she pretended not to see because she really wanted it to be a surprise. Then when we were going to the recital she kept saying "I am not going to look what's in your hands because I think it is a surprise for me". When I picked her up from the backstage I didn't have the flowers and she said "Mom, SOME people are getting flowers". She was so excited and acted so surprised when her daddy gave her some.
Kacey gave Ben a dollar for doing a good job...he was really happy. My parents gave him $5 and I gave him $1, too...he scored. We decided that he would much rather have money than flowers!
Anyway, it was a crazy day but the kids did so great and it was so much fun to watch them perform!!
