Ice Cream Truck
I can totally remember buying ice cream from the ice cream truck as a kid! Tonight we were in the backyard and Sammy said "what's that music?" and I announce "IT'S THE ICE CREAM TRUCK!" as if I was 5 years old! "The ice cream truck?" My kids have no idea what an ice cream truck is...so of course we ran to the front yard to buy and ice cream...I was figuring everything would be like a quarter or fifty cents...let's just say the ice cream man has raised his prices in the last 20 years! The kids thought this was so fun and can't wait to hear the music coming down the street again!!

How fun! I heard it the other night, but not tonight. I will have to start listening for it!
how cute! We have an ice cream truck somewhat regularly here, but there's just some days the kids don't deserve it and when we hear the music coming up the street, I'm like "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!!" I'm such a mean mom.
And there there are days we chase it down...
OK isn't that guy a little scary? And his truck? I don't know if I dare buy ice cream from him!

We got ice cream last night too! (same lady and her kids!) I was just as excited when I heard the music... it brought me back about 10 years!! :) I'm know afraid that EVERY time my kids hear the music... we've got a new routine! OH BOY?!?
OK I remember the ice cream truck back in the day also. It was such a treat to get one. I hear this truck EVERY day. I have not gotten one yet for fear that my kids will think we will buy every day!!!!!
I KNOW! The prices are outrageous! I remember using spare change to buy ice cream...I spent $8 the other day to get some popsicles for my kids. But if it's every once in a while, it's worth it 'cause they love it!
We just bought Ice cream from the ice cream truck for the first time a few weeks ago... I spent $12 on three ice creams. That was probably the last time we will do that.
Holy smokes that's crazy expensive! But I guess the ice cream man's gas prices are up, too. That's a nice memory for the kids though, just like it was for you.
That is funny, I just heard it the other night to. Although I remeber hearing it when I was a kid I have no memory of actually getting any ice cream! Your kids sure look like they enjoyed it!!
Fun! A few weeks ago we heard the ice cream music so we ran out front with our money and we waited...and waited...kept hearing the music but it never drove by our house:( Bummer!
Maybe we'll come to your neighborhood to buy ice cream. Our ice cream man drives a creepy molester van and the music sounds like something from a horror film.
Yes, I made the birthday capes. I'd be happy to make you some capes (I'm pretty sure you and Benson might want one too).:)
