Benson has had a hurt knee for as long as I have known him (10 years) and a couple of months ago he was wrestling with the boys and his knee made a popping sound. After that his knee would lock up and was causing him all kinds of problems. He went to the doctor and they told them he would need surgery and physical therapy!! Not the news we were hoping for...on Monday they called to schedule the surgery for FRIDAY! It was very shocking! I was so mad because when Benson was getting ready to go into surgery I really wanted to take a picture....he had his hospital gown on AND white tights!!! I was so disappointed that the battery was dead on my camera...but seriously you can imagine...it was HILARIOUS! The surgery went well and he has been recovering nicely. He has been sitting on his chair with his foot up all weekend! I think he planned the surgery for this weekend so he could watch all the college football games without me giving him a hard time :)
I am definitely ready for him to be back on two feet!

I hope he recovers okay. He was very smart to schedule if for opening day of college football.
I hope he recovers fast and that the surgery is successful! Few things hurt more than having your knee pop out of place. Hopefully he will get a good break too. :)
Well I am sad you could not take a picture all though I am sure Benson is fine with out it! Glad he is recovering nicely!
I can't believe you didn't get a picture of Benson in his white tights! I hope he is feeling better and ready to coach soccer tonight!

Can you believe how old our guys are getting? It seems like every time I turn around Lance has some new injury. They still think they're in high school!
Too bad your battery was dead, that would have been a great picture! Hopefully he will be felling and walking normal soon.
That's too bad about benson's knee. Tell him I just had the same thing happen to my knee and I have my appointment to schedule the exact same surgery!
