This Summer has been flying by and I can't believe school is going to be starting soon! That being said...I have felt like we have been so busy going on vacations and such we haven't done too many things around here! My kids love going to the Splash Park in Tempe so we decided to head there today with my sister, Erin, and her kids! Let's just say, Sammy and Ben had fun...Nate, not so much. Who knows what was up with that kid but he cried the whole time! I was so frustrated with him...seriously (plus, I have no idea what his issue was which is SO FRUSTRATING...I really need him to start talking)! Anyway, besides Nate's crying everyone else had fun and as soon as we got in the car Sammy wanted to schedule our next visit (she is such a planner...I wonder where she gets that from?)
Doesn't he look like he had fun???UPDATE: THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT HAS SHOWED CONCERN ABOUT THE CLOSING OF THE SPLASH PARK. WE AREN'T SICK AND HOPEFULLY IT STAYS THAT WAY! I AM SO GROSSED OUT! ISN'T THAT DISGUSTING!?!

Splash Park huh! I have never been there but it looks like fun. I think that since I moved I am out of the loop on fun places to go with your kids. Hopefully Nate will be happier tomorrow for us:)

Nate was upset about something... I've NEVER seen him NOT want to play BUZZ LIGHT YEAR!!!! Thats when you KNOW he is upset about something!!! ;) How funny that we ran into each other there! (smart minds think alike!!!)
Gotta love water fun in this crazy heat! I cant believe how good Nate is with chopsticks. I usually give up after 2 minutes. My stomach is bigger then my patients!

Maya saw Tempe Beach on the news and said she wants to go "to the beach" so I am thinking we will head there next week!
Hey, did you hear that they closed the splash park down because of bacteria? its the same stiff that was in the PHX pools and was making people sick. It will be closed till Wed ( I just read it on AZ Central.com)

was just goimg to let you know that we saw it on the news last night that they shut it down yesterday! No wonder nate wasn't enjoying himself...he had more insight and was wondering why you were subjecting him to such conditions! haha...yeah, that's gotta be it!
