8 lbs 19 3/4 inches long
1st time I got to hold her about 10 minutes after she was born...they had to take her to the warmer because she wasn't crying because the cord was really tight around her neck.

I can't believe we are a family of 6! The kids were so excited to see Lucy and they each brought her a present to the hospital. They were excited that Lucy brought them presents too :)

Lucy yawning...I was playing with Lucy on the bed and Benson was teasing me that I was playing with my "new toy"...it really is fun playing with a baby!
She loves to suck on her hands...and I love to play dress ups...notice her cute new bracelet (thanks Colette)!
We were playing on the bed and Lucy was staring at Nate and Ben...I love her expression!
I was induced on Wednesday morning and let me just say...I DID NOT like being induced! I felt like it was so much pressure! I couldn't sleep the night before because I was so stressed and nervous about everything!
Anyway, once we got checked in and everything I started on the pitocin at about 10 am. I got an epidural at about noon because my doctor was coming to break my water (and I learned from previous experience that I would like to be feeling no pain when they broke my water). Dr Layton came at 1pm to break my water....about 30 minutes later I was a 10 and ready to have the baby!
Lucy came out with the cord tight around her neck so the doctor had to cut the cord (which he felt bad that Benson couldn't) as she was coming out...she wasn't breathing or crying but they got her under the warmer and everything was good!
She is the sweetest and cutest baby EVER! We can't get enough of her! We love our little Lucy!

We are all adjusting well to the new additon besides the fact that Benson is really sick and has to get on an anti-biotic...just what we need! Oh well, hopefully nobody else gets sick (especially Baby Lucy)!

I was giving Janalynn a bath today and dressing her and putting a headband on etc., and Jim told me he thought we should change her name to Barbie doll since I was having so much fun dressing her up. Well--I finally have my girl, so I don't feel bad!!!
