4 kids...crazy! There was a big fight and a lot of tears on who got to hold the baby for this picture! She gets lots of attention!
I love these girls! Samantha is so happy to finally have a sister! She loves being a helper and has a hard time going to school because she wants to be with Lucy every second (same with me)! She is old enough to understand a lot and is very inquisitive on things! I think she likes her new toy too!
Nate has been surprisingly the most attentive to Lucy...all day he asks "where's the baby?" followed by "can I touch her?" And today Lucy was crying downstairs while I was getting the kids dressed upstairs and I thought to myself "she better get used to it" but all of a sudden Nate runs out of the room and he runs downstairs and is singing to Lucy and trying to give her a binky. We are still needing to watch him to make sure he doesn't love her too much and hurt her...but he has really loved being a big brother!!
Ben is pretty much taking it all in...he LOVES Lucy and is loving being a helper but there are a lot of things that he is old enough to get but doesn't quite understand (ie nursing and mom recovering from having a baby)...he seems very concerned for me and doesn't quite know how to react.
Lucy is a sweet little baby! I can't believe how much I love having a newborn again! She is my little doll and I love playing with her! I am trying to remind myself not to spoil her too much but I just want to hold her all day long!

Congrats, girl!! So glad all went well and she is simply stunning! How come she looks so old already in these latest pics? They change so dang fast. LOVE that your kids adore her as well. Then again,how could you not? So glad to see that you're surviving 4 little mnchkins (even with a sick hubby!). Congrats again...can't wait to meet her!
Ohhhhh! I'm all teary-eyed looking at that precious little girl. And "Lucy"??? It's killing me! I'm so glad you used that name since we will never get to. I will be calling you asap so I can come hold her!

She is so beautiful! The older 3 kids seem to be adjusting really well! Newborns are so precious, I can't wait to come hold her when we get back from our trip.

Love these pics. Your kiddos are very cute. Lucy is sweet in her pink outfit and hair bow. I'm glad you're having so much fun with her. That's what the newborn stage is for--it's truly a gift. And it's gone too fast :)
