Abduction Awareness

Over Spring Break the kids I signed Sammy and Ben up for an Abduction Awareness class...well worth the money. They were taught what to do if someone grabbed you by the arm, by the shirt, or from behind and how to get away. They also learned that they should drop to the ground and scream "HELP!" and start kicking his shins! They were really excited for their karate class and have told me that they should do that if anyone tries to take them (unless mom says its ok)!
I am wanting to do a "refresher" course in a couple months...let me know if anyone is interested in doing it!
Poor Jeremy was home from work that day so the kids got to kick his shins all morning...thanks Jeremy!

That sounds like such a great idea! Does the community provide those classes? Where did you find out about it?

Holy crap! I'm totally interested! I haven't been able to accurately explain what a stranger is to Stella because she just wants to be friends with everyone! She thinks that if she's said hi to them then they aren't strangers anymore. Plus, I think she'd have fun kicking someone.

That's so good for you to have your children do that. It's so necessary and I think it's great for parent's as a refresher too.
