Benson has been working so hard lately...it's not easy being pregnant or married to someone who is pregnant. There has been a lot that I have been "over looking" lately and Benson has had to pick up a lot of slack. Tonight I had a headache (I get those awful hormonal headaches a lot when I'm pregnant) and I didn't make dinner...Benson came home took the kids to the park (so I could have some quiet time) and came home to throw together some dinner...it was a buffet night...you know cereal, leftovers or easy mac...pretty much whatever you can find. I guess Ben was not impressed with what he saw. When we were sitting down for dinner he said in his most sympathetic voice...
"Dad, you did your best with dinner tonight"

Kids say the greatest things. That's one thing I'm really looking forward to.
I'm in the headache phase right now, too. It's no fun. :( What do you do to help? Tylenol? Caffeine? Bath? I'm trying different things to figure out what works best. You're the experienced one, though. Any advice?
I can relate also--I haven't cooked a decent dinner for three months. We subsist on takeout and frozen foods and the leftovers of those. I get the headaches too. Yuck! Usually the only thing that gets rid of them is rest and that is difficult with three other kids to take care of. Good luck!
"Buffet Night" is a weekly meal over at our house... and I'm not even pregnant!!! ~ I need some more EASY meals from you... when you feel up to it! :)
I think I missed the post of you expecting and also missed the baby countdown. Hello Nancy- are you there? I am so out of it these days. Maybe I am pregnant too. Just kidding. ANyways Congrats. I am thrilled for you and your family.
haha- I guess he'll be excited when the little one comes. back to mom's cooking! sorry you're feeling sick.. no fun ;(
Ha ha! I love it! Gotta just love what the kids think of to say. Tanner is getting to that stage where he says something and Jordan and I both look at each other and try super hard not to laugh out loud and hurt his feelings. They are just too funny though.
So, love the shoe saga. Glad I am not the only one out there who has clothes in kid's closets that don't fit anymore.
How was Twilight??
Kids do day the cutest things. Gotta love it! Oh, and your little pregnancy widget is too cute!
How sweet! As much as I groan about pregnancy, I think the Husbands get a raw deal too. And at least he's getting some encouragement from the little ones! :)
