Interesting Day

Today while we are at church...I looked over at Nate and saw what I thought was a huge booger in his nose. I try to wipe it off and think that it feels kind of hard so I get it out and it was a BEAD! Who knows how long he had that in his nose....I'm sure everyone around us thought it was weird when I pulled a purple bead out of my 2 year old's nose in the middle of the Sacrament!!
Also, Ben had to read the Scripture in Sharing time.....He was VERY excited to be able to talk in the microphone. I ask him what scripture he wanted to do..."Umm, I want to read the scripture where I run fast with Jesus" ! He insisted on this scripture and I ask him if he maybe wanted to do a scripture about trying to be like Jesus..."no, I want to RUN with Jesus". Please remind me to never get my kids opinions when it comes to something like speaking in public!! Luckily, when he got up there I whispered a scripture to him and he repeated it with no mention of running!

Ha! That is too funny -- both about the bead and the scripture, I mean! :)

Did he get the bead from Maya's hair?! :)

Sorry about not covering for you for Ben's scripture. Glad it worked out and there was no "loud voice" incidences!

So funny!

Peyton is so totally into sticking things up her nose lately! I swear her finger never leaves her nose. Couple days ago she had a button up there. Oh 2 year olds!!!

I forgot to tell you that in Sunday School, Kelly Rowley told me that watching our family in Sacrament mtg is like going to the circus...in a good way!

That is funny and Ben did a very good job with his scripture, I love the bead in his nose and yes you have to wonder how long it had been up there. I need to sit behind you guys sometime.

Kids make Sundays so interesting. I am learning that even with just one girl. I can only wonder where "running fast with Jesus" came from; that is hilarious! I love your kids and I love your blog.

How funny! I'm lucky to have never found anything up my kids' noses...yet.
I'm still trying to figure out the running scripture - maybe 'run and not be weary'? Hmmm...

When I was a kid my brother stuck a peanut up my nose during church - not sure why we had peanuts in church. We had to go home and get tweezers to pull it out. Finally it broke into a bunch of little pieces. I've always had a soft spot for peanut butter ever since. :)

What is it with kids putting things up their noses?? Thank heavens it didn't get lodged in there! My niece just had to take her daughter to the doctor to remove something from her nose. Dingalings!

LOL on the bead. A kid in Zach's kindergarten class shoved a bead so far up her nose that she had to go to the hospital. When my Scotty was little used to tear up tissue and paper and stick it in his ears when they hurt. I was so embarrased when the doctor had to look in his ears for an infection and had to pull out all those random tissues and paper pieces. Yep, good mom award for me for sure.
