Sunday August 1st was Sammy's EIGHTH BIRTHDAY!!! I can't believe she is already 8 years old! We woke up at the cabin and her only request was "puffy pancakes with buttermilk syrup"...so I delivered! Then we had to clean up the cabin and drive back to Mesa...I took the girls and Benson took the boys (he drove up for the weekend)! Unfortunately, my A/C broke in my car AND we were stuck outside Mesa for about 1 1/2 hours...completely stopped with NO A/C!! It was a nightmare!! I felt so bad for Sammy...what a terrible Birthday!! So, when we got home I spent some one on one time with her and painted her nails and toes!
Then once the boys got home we opened presents...
She was SOOO excited to get her very own scriptures!!
And some new clothes! Then we celebrated with the Jones Family...and HUGE cupcakes!!
We are so proud of Sammy and we are very grateful to have her in our family!! I always try to make my kids Birthday's Extra special...but this one turned out to be a BOMB!! But Sammy is always happy and so grateful for everything...she didn't even seem to notice! We are super excited for her upcoming Baptism!!
