Basketball Camp FINALLY arrived! I signed Ben up for a Basketball Camp in early May...and made the mistake of telling him about it! He was SO EXCITED!!! He would ask EVERY day if it was time for Basketball Camp! The time finally arrived for him to go...and he LOVED it! He would wake up every morning ...make his bed and get dressed before waking me up *which is a big deal for him*
I feel like a bad mom though because my friend Erin took him to the camp for me every day (since both her boys were doing the camp and she lived across the street) and on Thursday Ben was begging me to take him because he wanted me to watch...I told him no but promised I would come on the last day (he had also been asking Benson to come and he told him he would come on Friday)...on Thursday Ben came home with a trophy...I was so confused because there was one more day of camp...no, turns out the camp was only 4 days!!!! I felt terrible! I did watch on the 1st day, but I felt bad that I missed him get his trophy!!! He was so excited about his "glass and golden" trophy!
