We had FABULOUS weather on Presidents Day...we actually started out the day at TumbleWeed Park followed by Chic-fil-a lunch with my mom, sister, and her kids! Then we came home and not soon after Benson came home from work wanting to "celebrate Presidents Day"...really, in my memory we have never celebrated Presidents Day before...but I am always up for a celebration! Anyway, Benson really wanted to take the kids to Saguaro Lake to go on a hike and throw rocks in...and for some reason he forgot to get a Recreation Pass...so we drive all the way out there (ignoring all the signs on the road telling us to buy a pass) and realize we can't get out of the car! So, we come up with plan B and drive out to Fountain Hills...pick up some Senor Tacos for dinner and have a picnic dinner and watch the fountain. Sammy fell into a cactus and Lucy lost her shoe...but it was a great night! The kids loved chasing the birds and watching the fountain! On the way home Ben said, "that was fun...I think I will tell my kids about this one day!"
