Sammy's 9th Birthday

On August 1st Sammy turned NINE YEARS OLD!!! I can barely believe it! It was such a fun day! It started out with summer movies and when we got home...we were greeted with friends and donuts!

Later in the day...Sammy received a present from us...but had to go on a scavenger hunt throughout the house to find it!

She was so excited to get a new pink and green beach cruiser!

Her little ride didnt last too long (soooo hot!) but she will hopefully have fun on her bike soon enough!

Then, she and I went on a super fun "date"...we went shopping at the mall (where she bought a necklace, earrings, and candy), had dinner at Rubios and saw the new Harry Potter movie!

When we got home (super late) she was so excited that some friends came and decorated her room for her!

Things that make me SMILE...

Benson went to get Lucy out of her crib and Nate was in the crib with her...holding her mobile over her head and said "look dad...I can hold this for Lucy" 1/10

Lucy has the cutest smile...and she scrunches up her little nose! 12/09

All Ben wants for Christmas is a SPY KIT! He is obsessed with it...I ask him who he wants to spy on and he told me "you!" 12/09

November 2008: Ben had a paper in his folder from school that said "Ask me to help you with a chore tonight" I read it to him and quickly snatched it out of my hand and threw it in the trash and said "that is for NEXT year"

November 2008 : I ask Ben what he wanted to be when he grew up he said "a daddy with a 100 babies AND a grown up human"

November 2008: I ask Samantha what she wanted to be when she grows up she said "a mommy" and I said how many babies do you want to have and she said "how ever many babies you have, mom"

October 2008: Nate climbs into bed with me with a pirate patch on and says "Mom, I'm a pirate treasure"

July 2008: Nate sees cupcakes at the store and says "Nate WUVVVS tup-takes"
