Vacation: Part 1--Snowbird

We just got back from a super fun family vacation...longest one of my life...we were gone a total of 19 days!! Our first stop was Kaysville, UT to visit Benson's sister, Twila and her family! Last year, Benson REALLY wanted to go to do the Summer activities at Snowbird...but we ran out of time...this year...it was FIRST on the list of things to do! And...once again, as much as I hate to admit it...Benson was right...it was really fun! And an actual quote from Ben was, "This is WAY better than Disneyland" (my heart broke a little...but Benson couldn't be more proud)! Anyway, there was still snow on the mountain...so the kids thought that was pretty fun (people were still skiing!)

Lucy was pretty little to do most of the things...but she LOVED the alpine slides and quickly learned how to make them go faster!

Ben was in HEAVEN the entire day...he loved it all! Our first stop was the trampolines...

I know it doesn't look like it in this picture...but Lucy LOVES her Aunt Twila (and Uncle Brian...not pictured)! Usually she takes a little bit to warm up to people...but everytime she sees Twila she goes right to her!

Our first of many....ski lift trip to the top of the mountain to ride the alpine slides...we did this a million times this day! The kids LOVED it!

Nate and Benson...you needed to be 7 to ride the Alpine Slide by yourself...so most of the time Nate had to find someone to go with...towards the end of the day...I think they knew us and let him go by himself!

This is Ben's first time down...he went pretty slow...but only the first time...the other times he was FLYING down the mountain!

Besides the Alpine Slide...this bounce house was the only other thing Lucy could do...so she spent a lot of time in here!

Not sure what this was called...we called it the "fishing pole" because the kids looked like little fish on a pole! They loved getting swung all around.

Don't let all the snow fool you...it was HOT...we took a little ice cream break on the grass while all the big kids and adults (minus me) rode the zipline.

Ropes Course...scarier than it seems...except I think I was the only person scared...the kids loved it!

Somehow Benson convinced me to do the zipline...for sure outside of my comfort zone...but really it was pretty fun!
