Sammy and Ben decided to give swim team a try this year! Wow...its a COMMITMENT...practice EVERY day (and lets just say the pool isn't CLOSE to us at all) and a meet once a week! The first meet was FREESTYLE...and well, to put it nicely, it seemed as if my kids had no idea what a RACE was.... but they had fun so that's all the matters! The next meet was BACKSTROKE...what a hard stroke...after watching videos of Michael Phelps on
YouTube they were ready!!! Here is a picture of Ben adjusting his cap and
goggles...(oh, and after the first meet the HAD to wear a swim cap...luckily Benson has done lots of triathlons and we had caps on hand!)
Ben did AWESOME and got 3rd place out of eight!! He was super excited!!

so cute, glad they did well!!! This is getting hard! Im scared for them each week! Maybe we should bring our own ribbons for them :)
