The GOOD news is Nate LOVED soccer! The BAD news is...he didn't really get the whole point of the game! Oh well! His poor coaches (who are luckily friends of ours) tried so hard to get Nate to score a goal...which turned into kicking the ball...which turned into just running...which turned into just kind of paying attention to the game! Thanks Jeremy and Ryan :) My favorite was one time they were following Nate and kinda nudging him along to get him to run and follow the ball and Nate ran over to me and ask "why are they being so MEAN to me?" ha! Anyway, he loved going and loved playing with his friends so the season was a SUCCESS!
Proof that he CAN actually run!
Since Nate went the entire season without scoring a goal (in case you were wondering...he was the only one on the team) Benson helped him score at the very end of the last game...he still missed! So he picked the ball up and threw it into the net..and he was SO EXCITED...HE SCORED A GOAL!! Needless to say...we got a kick out of Nate's skills!
Tonight we had a party at the one and only...PETER PIPER PIZZA! Nate kept telling me that he would get a trophy because he scored a goal :) ...he was very excited about his NEW trophy!

He is so cute Kyle. Tell him to just keep trying he will be GREAT next year. Practice makes perfect!
