The next morning we headed to Doheney Beach and let the kids play ALL DAY! We were there for 7 hours straight! We played in the sand and water, ate snacks, buried each other in the sand, built sandcastles, and Lucy and Benson even took a little nap on the beach! So much fun!!

After a full day at the beach the kids were WIPED OUT!!
Another beach day...this day we rented a surf board and Benson tried to teach the kids to surf! Sammy (with her adventurous spirit) LOVED it and could have done it all day! Ben has probably read too many shark books and was scared out of his mind to be in the water by himself...and Nate (as usual) wants to do anything that Ben does so he was also scared! But they both tried it once!

We had a FABULOUS time..it was so much time to spend so much time together as a family!! And we all L-O-V-E the beach, sun, water, and sand!!

What a fun little vacation.
Looked like so much FUN! I love California. We went for two weeks this summer and last February. My husband has always said that if he got offered a job there we would move in a heart beat!

ps. reminds me of the first time we took Nate to the beach and he kept crying cuz he would eat sand. So, we would wipe it off his mouth. Then he would eat it again and cry. That series repeated itself for awhile!!!
