Valentines Party!

We celebrated with homemade heart pizza
The kids loved watching it bake

And whats a party without root beer??

Then we had a Valentines treasure hunt

All the kids had their own clues

And the treasure was a big "chocolate chip"!

Then we all made our own Valentines for each other

And had homemade Boston Cream Cake...yummy!
We also watched Beauty and the Beast (no picture)!

The kids were so excited for Valentine's Day (Sammy couldn't sleep the week before she was just too excited) so Benson and I decided to go out the weekend before and party with the kids on the night of Valentines! When I went to the store to buy the ingredients for the pizza...I decided to get a block of mozzarella instead of pre-shredded cheese (I like block cheese better but lately the convenience of pre shredded has just been to easy). So when we were making the pizza I got out the cheese grater and my kids thought it was fascinating...they all had to take a turn grating the cheese...it was like a new invention! Benson and I were dying that our kids had never seen a cheese grater before!
It was a really fun night!! Happy Valentines Day!

You guys always do such fun things. We had the cheese grater experience a few years ago. It was so funny how shocked they were about it. Hope you are feeling well.

Is that an IBC rootbeer? I remember your hubby & all his friends and their serious addiction to that stuff in seminary. Haha!
